With 360 degree intake, the Airpura V700 removes thousands of different VOC and particle pollutants from all directions at once, not waiting for them to float to one side or the bottom to be taken in. This provides faster air quality improvements and better overall pollutant removal. Polluted air goes through a cleanable pre-filter, then two Micro-Suppress pre-filters first to trap germ-laden larger particles and prevent premature carbon and HEPA clogging (increases filter life), then into the enhanced 18 pound heavy duty carbon filter and finally through a true HEPA filter to remove over 99% of particles. And unlike many other air cleaners, since the HEPA is after the carbon filter, you won't get any carbon dust added to your indoor air.  For protection from airborne bacteria and viruses, a 20W UV lamp can also be added as a final stage.
