AlegnaTM Moisture Sensors are extremely flat/thin (-0.1MM) / (0.00393701 inches), weighs less than one (1) gram moisture passive sensor that only emits a signal when it is being read. It even reads if there is liquid in liquid phase (over 100 RH%, (i.e. above the dew point). Data is automatically saved and wirelessly sent to AlegnaSense secure Cloud (AWS).  This wireless humidity meter / monitoring system allows you to measure moisture without destructive sampling any time you want, instead of waiting several months without use before an area sufficiently dry. Or, you can use the Alegna sensor to read how fast an area is drying  out, whether it is drying at all, or getting worse--all without disturbing the wall, roof or other structure. 

Easy to Install: Sensors are installed during new construction or renovation. They are located in places where there is a risk of moisture damage, both in the short term and over time. For example, in wet rooms, under asphalt, concrete, floors, around drains and behind walls, or where water moisture or excess humidity may occur. Including where there may be water leakage where the pipes penetrate the construction (i.e. in the kitchen in front of the sink, inside the balcony door under the parquet, in the façade of the corners of all perforations (such as windows) and on other places where it is important to be able to control the moisture.

How Does It Work?  Alegna's amazing technology allows the sensor to measure the concentration of water molecules (getting in balance with the surrounding environment), and converts this measurement to a frequency range. With Alegna’s moisture scanner, this frequency range is read and when sensor and the scanner end up in resonance, the relative humidity percentage (RH%) is read.
