If you order one of our products from this website and want to return them, and it's not defective, of course can, however you will have to pay for the cost of shipping, and a 10-25% restocking fee, depending on what manufacturer as virtually all of our products are shipped directly from the manufacturer who each have different rules and fees for returns, etc. Restocking fees are usually waived for exchanges. No refunds or exchanges can be provided for damaged or installed items. Products with specific lead times stated on the product pages, these lead times are kept as accurate and up to date as possible. However, there may be times when the lead time is extended by the manufacturer. We will do our best to keep you updated on any lead time changes, but you agree that such extended lead time changes are possible when making a purchase of these items.
Damaged Item Policy
We do everything we can to ship our products as safely and securely as possible to try to get them to our customers without damage. This is very important to us. This is why our packaged shipments have been inspected and approved by UPS. Cosmetic damage does not happen often, but does happen from time to time, and is the reason why every item ordered from this site is shipped with UPS Flex Parcel Insurance. Flex Parcel Insurance provides loss, theft and damage protection. If an item shows up damaged a claim has to be filed within 72 hours of its delivery. If the box shows up damaged please check the products and report any damage as soon as you can by providing an email and photos to email@example.com. The customer must also provide UPS access to the package and allow them to retrieve the package for inspection.
Air Purifiers and Cleaners.com and Murphy Enterprises of AL Inc do not provide refunds, exchanges or returns for damaged products including but not limited to dents, scratches, scrapes and smudges without a UPS claim. Air Purifiers and Cleaners.com products ordered from this site are brand new when they are picked up by UPS. If the units or installation products ordered from this site are broken, lost, stolen or damaged during shipping or after delivery the shipper (UPS) or customer are responsible. If a unit or installation product suffers cosmetic damage while being shipped and the customer would like a refund or a new product a UPS claim has to be filed and won before a new product can be sent or the item refunded, unless the damage would prevent the unit from being mounted or installed properly, in which case a new unit would be shipped right way.
If the unit is going to be used in a showroom, resold, or it is important to the customer that the product does not have any cosmetic damage, we can double box and double pad the package for a $15 material and handling charge. This does not guarantee that the unit will not suffer damage while being shipped. The manufacturers and Air Purifiers and Cleaners.com is not responsible for broken, defective or damaged products. All warranty and exchanges for defective products must be done through contacting us at 1-800-701-2513 and we will assist you with the return, replacement or otherwise appropriate solution to the problem.
Our return policy is very simple, as well: as a drop ship distributor, we operate under the specific return policies dictated by each manufacturer, with no exceptions. If you have a problem with an item you have ordered, give us a call immediately. Or, fill out the contact form below and tell us what the problem is. Many times, we can resolve the problem right over the phone. If you would like for us to call you back, please indicate that in your message below and include the best number / time of day to call. We will help process your return, again within the guidelines set out by each manufacturer.
Most of our manufacturer partners will not accept returns simply because of shipping delays or other circumstances beyond their control, or because the item isn't wanted now, buyer's remorse, etc. The only manufacturers that will usually accept returns other than defectives are Airdog, Austin Air and Blueair, who typically offer a 30 day money back guarantee, subject to their rules and conditions and only if the 30 day guarantee was in effect at time of purchase.
Specific Manufacturer Return Rules:
Aller Air: If you return a unit within 15 days from date of purchase, package unopened, you will receive a refund, minus a restocking fee of 25%. After 15 days, or if the package has been opened, there are no returns except as authorized by the manufacturer. Defective or Damaged: The Aller Air warranty applies to units or parts, which are proven to be defective by reason only of faulty workmanship or materials. In this instance, AllerAir Industries Inc. will, at their discretion, repair or replace the part or product free of charge in accordance with the aforementioned guidelines. Shipping costs to the factory are the responsibility of the end-user, but the unit will be shipped back to the end-user at the company's expense.(provided that you have registered your warranty), and all all at the discretion of AllerAir and Air Purifiers and Cleaners.com
Blueair: Defective or damaged: if a Blueair item arrives defective or damaged, let us know within 30 days from date of purchase and we will replace the item and send a call tag or label to return the item, with free shipping back to you, as well. After 60 days, if defective / not working correctly, Blueair will, at their option, replace the unit with a refurbished same model unit or repair the unit you are sending back. Blueair offers a 30 Day Money Back Guarantee on these conditions: any unopened units can be returned within 30 days for a full refund of the purchase price, units only, does not include filters. If package has been opened, there will be a 25% restocking fee. Repairs will be made in concordance with the warranty agreement, provided you have registered your warranty, which automatically extends your warranty from 1 to 5 years. Filters are non-returnable if received in good condition and correct filter for the unit, all at the discretion of Blueair and Air Purifiers and Cleaners.com
Luma Comfort / Newair: all items returnable within 30 days of purchase date, provided the item is in new, sellable condition, not damaged; if buyer's remorse, product not desired, customer pays return shipping by shipper of their choice. When the item is received and inspected by Luma Comfort / Newair and approved for refund, Air Purifiers and Cleaners.com will refund as soon as possible. If the item is defective, Luma Comfort / Newair or Air Purifiers and Cleaners.com will provide a shipping label or otherwise pay for return shipping and back to customer shipping and replace or repair the unit at the discretion of Luma Comfort / Newair and Air Purifiers and Cleaners.com
