VOG is a combination of sulfur dioxide gas, other gases, heavy metals and other volatile elements primarily present in areas with volcanic activity.

As VOG moves through the air, and mixes with moisture droplets, the sulfur dioxide gas transforms to the very dangerous sulfuric acid, and this 'acid rain' becomes a hazard to buildings, plants, animals, and to us when we inhale it.

The 5000 DX VOG has a special blend of carbon designed to remove this VOG from the air you breathe in your home, office, or other confined space.
